Sarah Ferguson’s hotly anticipated new podcast Tea Talks with Sarah Thomson has officially dropped, leaving many speculating about how in-depth the Duchess is prepared to go into her colourful life. The description for the series on Spotify promises “candid conversations” and Fergie is known for her frankness in interviews, yet it remains to be seen how far she will be drawn on topics such as her relationship with Prince Andrew and the ongoing situation with Royal Lodge, where the two still live together.

Despite their divorce in 1996, Fergie and Andrew have maintained a close relationship and have been living together at the property in Windsor Great Park for a number of years.
King Charles has reportedly made clear his desire for Andrew to vacate the 30-room mansion and move into Frogmore Cottage following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s eviction.
The Duke of York is said to be unhappy with the decision, but as his annual maintenance grant of £249,000 has been cut he may no longer be able to afford the upkeep of the building.
One subject that Fergie is likely to be keen to talk about is her growing family, as her younger daughter Princess Eugenie is due to give birth to her second child any day.
The Duchess is already a grandmother to Eugenie’s two-year-old son August and Princess Beatrice’s daughter Sienna, who will turn two this September.
The hosts of Tea Talks have said they will approach topics with “infectious enthusiasm and a healthy dose of humour”.
Speaking ahead of its release Fergie said: “With my great friend, the talented entrepreneur Sarah Jane Thomson, I am going to be exploring the issues of the day that affect us all.

“I hope Tea Talks will also allow us to share some of our personal experiences and stories along the way.
“It’s going to be a fascinating journey and I hope you will join us.”
The first episode will see the pair speaking about the meaning of friendship in her lives as well as sharing the personal story of how they first met.
Although Fergie may be on friendly relations with the royals now this was not always the case, as she was for many years shunned by senior members of the family after pictures of her on holiday with her financial advisor John Bryan were published in the press.
After she and Andrew announced their separation in 1992, after six years of marriage, Fergie was snapped in France with Mr Bryan while her children played in a nearby swimming pool.
The Texan businessman was seen kissing her feet as they looked very cosy together, prompting the Queen and Prince Philip to banish the Duchess from royal life, although relations have now thawed since Charles became King as he invited her to spend Christmas with them in Sandringham last year.
Ingrid Seward, editor of Majesty magazine, said of the incident: “The Queen was furious, absolutely furious. I think partly because she loved Fergie [Sarah] so much.
“She just couldn’t believe Fergie could have been so stupid to allow this to happen. When Fergie backed out of the Presence in a deep curtsy she knew her life as a royal was well and truly over.”
