Kate, Princess of Wales has joined a host of royals from across the world for the royal wedding in Jordan.
Following the religious ceremony between Crown Prince Al Hussein and Rajwa Alseif, the guests gathered for a lavish formal state banquet this evening, hosted by King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan.
Despite not wearing one to the Coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla, Kate styled the Lover’s Knot tiara, a beloved piece from the royal collection.
The silver accessory was one of Princess Diana’s favourite pieces of jewellery and has been worn by Kate on several occasions.
While the unmissable accessory obviously holds sentimental value for the Princess of Wales, it also has a distinguished royal history.
Sometimes referred to as “the Cambridge Lover’s Knot”, the tiara is, in fact, a replica of an earlier royal sparkler.
