Prince William has revealed that he is “honoured” to hand over a very important royal job to New Zealand’s former Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern.
The news was announced via the official Twitter account for Earthshot Prize, with the Prince and Princess of Wale’s official page sharing the news.
The official tweet read: “We’re delighted to welcome Jacinda Arder to The Earthshot Prize Board of Trustees. Her life-long commitment to sustainable development and climate action align powerfully with our ambition to protect and restore our planet by 2030. We’re honored she joins us in this new role!”.
William shared the post, with the words: It is an honour to welcome Jacinda Ardern to the Earthshot Prize team. Her life-long commitment to supporting sustainable and environmental solutions, along with her experience as Prime Minister of New Zealand, will bring a rich infusion of new thinking to our mission.”
He also signed his tweet off with his typical tweet sign-off – the letter W.
