Prince William feels a sense of “deep, deep betrayal” by Prince Harry over Princess Diana’s legacy, a royal expert has claimed. In recent months during media appearances, Harry has spoken about his mother’s death and how it has affected him from an early age.
Royal expert Kinsey Schofield said she didn’t blame Prince William for reportedly not wanting to speak to his brother at King Charles’s Coronation.
“I think that I side with William here. I don’t know how it’s being received in the UK, but here in the States Harry and Meghan have almost hijacked the legacy of Princess Diana and it has become something that they hide behind,” claimed Ms Schofield.
She continued: “I’ve noticed Prince William talking a lot more about Diana leading up to the Coronation which surprised me because you would think that might be something they would try to avoid on such a historic date for the King.
“But I almost wonder if William’s trying to say: ‘Hey, she’s my mother too.’ I think there is a deep, deep betrayal felt here and I understand and I kind of agree with Prince William.”

The host of the To Di For Daily podcast empathised with the Prince of Wales and claimed she wouldn’t speak to her brother in this situation either.
She said on TalkTV: “I would distance myself for as long as it took before I trusted my brother again.”
Reports have suggested that Harry and William may not meet during the King’s Coronation next month despite both attending.
Harry accepted an invitation to the ceremony after two months of speculation over whether he would go. However, wife Meghan will remain in California with their children.
Prince Archie Harrison’s birthday falls on the same day as the Coronation, May 6, and it’s unclear how long the Duke of Sussex will remain in the UK – though reports indicate the visit will be brief.
Around 2,000 guests including world leaders, royals both foreign and domestic, and heads of state from across the globe will attend the event.
