Prince William is “delighted” that royal fans have warmed to his wife, claims royal expert Roya Nikkhah. The royal couple have been going from strength to strength as they continue to take a more prominent role within the Royal Family. Princess Kate, in particular, has been shown to receive a lot of attention – but according to Ms Nikkhah, William doesn’t have a problem with it at all.

Ms Nikkhah told True Royalty TV’s The Royal Beat: “[King] Charles was always very upset when Diana had eclipsed him, which was all the time. William is delighted by the fact that people warm to Catherine.”
She added: “William is comfortable with that. I have heard him talk about Catherine’s work and how excited he is about it, and he loves that she is getting traction.”
However, the Sunday Times royal editor added there was one thing that William does not always enjoy. She said: “The only thing I know that does slightly bother him is when he is cropped out of photos. You will find very often they will do a joint engagement and the front page of the news the next day, it is as if William was never there!”
The Princess is often praised for how much she has grown, particularly since their royal wedding in 2011.
Hannah Fernando, who is the editor of Woman and Woman and Home Magazines, said: “Catherine has no wish to eclipse him. She is coming into her own because she is actually brilliant.

“She has taken on this life, opened her arms to it, and learned along the way what she needs to do.
“I think he is delighted by that, and I don’t think he is worried about her eclipsing him.”
This comes after recent reports that insiders were concerned that the 41-year-old was beginning to “overshadow” the King
The concerns began after Kate’s appearance at the Chelsea Flower Show was being talked about more than the King and Queen’s visit.

Royal expert Robert Jobson recently discussed this in his Daily Mail comment piece – stating that Kate will have the King’s “blessing” to steal the limelight.
Mr Jobson wrote: “Whilst it is Charles’s head that wears the crown, it is William, Catherine and their children that will steal the limelight. They are bound to. And it is right.”
He added: “This time, it will be with Charles’s blessing – for he knows for the monarchy to survive it must be relevant to the younger generation.”
On Monday, royal fans took to Twitter to express their own delight that Kate attended the Chelsea Flower Show.
One fan wrote: “Wonderful surprise visit and the princess looks amazing as always.”
Another wrote: “Such a lovely surprise to see The Princess at the Chelsea Flower Show today.”
