Olivia Colman’s quiet life in Norfolk where she bought her home for £1.3million

Olivia Colman is an English actress who has been gracing Britons’ TV screens for decades.

The 49-year-old has been in a plethora of TV series over the years including Peep Show, Fleabag and Accused.

She’s also featured in films including The Father, The Lost Daughter, Hot Fuzz and Tyrannosaur.

Over the years, the English actress has received a plethora of accolades including an Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award, two Emmy Awards, three British Academy Television Awards, and three Golden Globe Awards.

The couple married in 2001 and have three children. Olivia used to live in Peckham in South East London but now lives in Norfolk.

The couple traded in their family home in Peckham for a historic Grade II-listed barn in Norfolk.

Olivia’s property in Peckham had five bedrooms and was sold for £2.4million – £1.5million above the price they paid for it 10 years ago (£875,000).

The couple’s new home reportedly cost £1.3million but they plan to make some changes to the property.

Olivia’s husband has submitted a planning application for an outdoor pool which will include LED lighting.

A former planning application to replace five windows and demolish a timber cold store was denied.

The plans, which included constructing a new door and steps from the house, were denied as it would result in the “loss of original 17th-century fabric and enclosure”.

Properties in Norfolk are reasonably priced having an overall average price of £314,231 over the last year, according to Rightmove.

The majority of sales in Norfolk during the last year were detached properties, selling for an average price of £427,046.

Semi-detached properties sold for an average of £278,408, with terraced properties fetching £233,193.

Overall, sold prices in Norfolk over the last year were seven percent up on the previous year and 16 percent up on the 2020 peak of £272,017.
