Meghan Markle’s estranged family has lifted the lid on the Duchess of Sussex and viewers at home are not impressed, with one watcher branding the exclusive interview “disgusting”.
In a 7NEWS Spotlight exclusive, dad Thomas Markle Snr, half-brother Thomas Markle Jr and half-sister Samantha Markle were grilled on their relationship with the Duchess, which has become increasingly toxic following their outspoken remarks to the press.
Sharing “treasured childhood videos” of Meghan, including never-before-seen footage of the Hollywood star as her high school’s homecoming queen, the Markles accuse her of swapping her regal role for the full-time job of “hurting” her sickly father and allegedly lying about her life before marrying into the monarchy.
Viewers at home have been left shell-shocked, with one Twitter user posting: “Dear Channel 7 the special attacking Meghan Markle is disgusting and unnecessary.”
