Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced they were “stepping back” from their senior roles within the Royal Family earlier this year. Ever since, the pair have begun a new life in Los Angeles, California, with their son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and focussed their attention on charity work, including the group Homeboys and Homegirls. However, today GMB host Lorraine Kelly admitted she was somewhat heartbroken the pair weren’t still in the UK to impact change.
With the coronavirus pandemic continuing to bring drastic changes to the way of life as well as the historic Black Lives Matter movement hitting headlines, Lorraine admitted she wished Harry and Meghan were in the spotlight to help with both.
Lorraine began by addressing reports Meghan felt shunned by the Royal Family.
The GMB host said: “You have to feel sorry, it’s always sort of they say one thing, they say the other.
“She felt like that when she was pregnant and that’s really, really sad.”
