Lee Anderson has answered a series of questions put to him by Express readers.
The Ashfield MP – known as the Red Wall Rottweiler – gives his views on a range of topics including the NHS, if the UK should leave the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), and Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer.
The former coal miner and ex-Labour councillor also reveals if he would ever switch to Reform UK and if he was handed the Tory Party deputy chair position to stop him from speaking his mind.

What do you think of Sir Keir Starmer that sits on the fence or says anything to anyone to get into No10?
Sir Keir will say and do anything to get the keys to Number 10.
It’s ironic that when he had no policies Labour were nearly 30 points ahead, but since they have started making outrageous personal attacks on Rishi, Sir Keir is seeing his lead slip away before his eyes. The Great British public will not be fooled by Slippery Starmer.
Do you think the UK should leave the ECHR?
I have always been of the opinion that we should leave the ECHR but this is something Parliament will never agree to which is why I was pleased to see Rishi and Suellla present the new Illegal Immigration Bill which will allow us to have overall control on illegal immigration and not be answerable to some faceless judge in Strasbourg.

GB News does not cancel free speech and allows everyone to have their say. Brits are fair-minded folk on the whole and like to hear both sides.
When are you going to realise throwing money at the NHS is not working? It needs serious reform!
Totally agree. The NHS is a bottomless money pit which needs reforming from top to bottom.
We cannot keep throwing money at it and expect it to fix itself, we need to be brave enough to present practical solutions to the public whilst maintaining the NHS will always be free at the point of use.
