His Majesty is set for a ‘special birthday surprise’ as the RAF plan to shake up the flypast formation at King Charles’s first Trooping the Colour.
Air Vice-Marshal, Mark Flewin, who is in charge of the flypast, told the BBC this morning, there will be a “very special signature formation” that has so far been kept secret – he added it is “as a surprise for His Majesty the King”.
To mark the end of the Trooping the Colour ceremony, the RAF will be putting on a special flypast to celebrate the breadth of the services’ capabilities and celebrate the King’s official birthday.
