A swimmer is believed to have drowned during the Swansea Triathlon with the male athlete reported to have tragically lost consciousness while attempting the challenging 750m swim stage of the extreme endurance competition.
The tragic incident occurred amidst the presence of numerous swimmers participating in the Swansea waterfront event.
