Prince Harry and Meghan Markle face a “lose-lose” scenario regardless of whether up at King Charles III’s Coronation, author Christopher Andersen claimed. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not confirmed if they will attend, despite getting their invitation in March. But Andersen said the couple could avoid a frosty reception if the Royal Family banded together to welcome them but noted it is unlikely to happen.
He told Fox News Digital: “It’s really lose-lose for the Sussexes unless the rest of the family suddenly decides to do an about-face and embrace them.
“I don’t see that happening. There is too much bitterness there.
“Too many bridges have been burned.”
Andersen added: “So, if Harry and Meghan attend the Coronation, they will almost certainly be sidelined and visibly shunned.

Writing in the New Zealand Herald, she said: “For His Majesty, he is damned if the Sussexes do come, and equally damned if they don’t.
“Should Harry and Meghan front up in their best bib and tucker and with their bravest faces plastered on, their presence back in the royal midst will be the only story people really care about.”
Esler added: “Charles will be in obvious danger of having his august moment overshadowed by his pouty, lip-jutting son and his couture-clad daughter-in-law.
“But … he is equally stuffed if they don’t turn up in London. Their absence inside Westminster Abbey would only really drive home how badly broken things are inside the House of Windsor.”
The Coronation is scheduled for May 6 at Westminster Abbey.
