Emmerdale spoilers: Manpreet Sharma's world crumbles as sister reveals shocking truth

Emmerdale’s set for an explosive few months after ITV released their autumn schedule last week, and it looks like more trouble is brewing for GP Manpreet Sharma (played by Rebecca Sarker) as the village welcomes another newcomer to the lanes. Manpreet, who married Rishi Sharma (Bhasker Patel) last year, made waves when she was outed as a spend-a-holic, plummeting her new family into debt. But she’s set to be tasked with much more than battling a shopping addiction when her sister turns up out of the blue with a grudge to bear.

Locking horns straight away, her sibling will immediately cause tensions to rise in the family, as the two warring sisters continue their on-going feud.

It is not yet know whether the Sharma’s know about her extended family, other than her daughter Aisha Richards (Shila Iqbal).

So, it’s likely to come as a shock to all of them.

Could this mystery sibling have something on Manpreet that’s yet to surface?

Fans know she has certain vulnerabilities and it begs the question whether their feud is to do with her shopping problems.

All we can say is that it’s going to be a very uncomfortable situation at first and residents should be wise not to get in their way.

But the doctor isn’t the only one who will be rocked by the arrival of a familiar face.

Moira Barton’s (Natalie J. Robb) long-lost brother has been revealed to make a splash in the village, threatening to spill the dark secrets of the farmers past.

Maybe we’ll see a Manpreet-Moira alliance agaisnt their troublesome siblings?

Another added: “Sadie was brilliant character. Jimmy [King] was much better when he was with her.”

“I still remember her feud with Charity during the run up to Tom/Charity’s wedding,” one comment read.

While others agreed they’d happily welcome her back, others weren’t so sure.

“I hated her, but in a good way… she’d be infuriating to be around in your real life but she made a good foil for other people in the village, and hating her made it so delicious to watch her get put in her place by others.

“She played the role of a cold b***h really well, that’s for sure.”
