The brother of a 15-year-old girl that took her own life has issued a heart wrenching plea for people to come forward if they are struggling with their mental health.
John Ford’s sister, Taylor Malcolm from Uddingston in Scotland, was found dead on Saturday April 22.
The news was made even more distressing when Mr Ford, 27, revealed that his family had already been rocked to its core by the passing of Taylor’s elder sister, Rhiannon Ford, at the age of 18 by suicide in 2019.
He told the Daily Record: “I can’t believe Taylor is gone. It doesn’t feel real and there is nothing I can do about it This is the second time I’ve lost a sister to suicide. I just wish people would talk more because there is help out there.
“Please, please if you’re getting these thoughts, reach out to someone. I know that it might seem like you only have one option, but think of the devastation you are leaving behind for the ones who love you.”
