Denise Welch unleashed her fury at the Meghan Markle “obsessives” as she questioned why the former Suits actress would want to return to the UK without Prince Harry.
The Loose Women star said she is “over the Coronation” as the ITV favourite defended Meghan’s decision to not attend.
“I’m so over this Coronation. Have the Coronation, be the King, and have Camilla be your Queen if you want. Get on with it. Why do we need to talk about it?” Denise vented on her Juicy Crack podcast on April 21.
She continued: “Why are these Meghan obsessives going on, and on, and on about it? You say that she shouldn’t come and when she doesn’t come you say she’s a coward for not coming.
“What is your problem? Why would she want to come here?”

The 64-year-old continued: “Why is she living rent-free in your head all the time – people probably think she’s in mine as well but I haven’t spoken about her in ages.
“The other thing is, why would she want to come here?”
Denise claimed the media have continuously “slammed” and “persecuted” Meghan and added it is “utter rubbish” to suggest the Duchess “whisked” Harry away from the royal family.
She went on to claim that in previous centuries this was the reason royals married other royals because everyone was aware of their roles and were “protected by a hierarchy”.
“When you start to marry outside of those confines – the same thing happened with Princess Diana, the same thing happened with Fergie, and now with Meghan,” Denise remarked.
“Harry to me is a man who has had the f*** enough. He moved his bride away.”
The Loose Women panellist said Harry is still “reeling” from the death of his mother, where he explained in his memoir Spare not being comforted or hugged when receiving the tragic news of her death.
Denise vented: “He has said enough is enough. I would imagine it would be absolute purgatory for Harry not to come to the Coronation. People going on about, ‘oh he is depriving Charles of seeing his grandchildren.’ Erm… hello, it’s only California.
“Charles could pop over and see his grandchildren if he wanted to.”
The Duchess of Sussex has since issued a statement and put to bed rumours about the reason she’s not attending King Charles’s Coronation on May 6.
Meghan denied claims made in a broadsheet newspaper, that a letter was sent to Charles, then the Prince of Wales, following Harry and Meghan’s appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show in March 2021, expressing concern over unconscious bias in the royal family.
The newspaper’s source claimed that was the reason why the former Suits actress is not attending the Coronation next month, saying she feels she did not receive a satisfactory response to her concerns.
A spokesperson for Meghan said: “The Duchess of Sussex is going about her life in the present, not thinking about correspondence from two years ago related to conversations from four years ago.
“Any suggestion otherwise is false and frankly ridiculous.”
