'Complete tripe!' Boris blasts 'rank hypocrisy' of Partygate report in 1,704-word rebuttal

Boris Johnson has launched a furious 1,704-word rebuttal to the Privileges Committee report into parties during Lockdown. 

The former Prime Minister slammed the report as a “charade”, saying today is a “dreadful day for MPs and democracy”. 

Hitting out at the committee’s chair, Mr Johnson added: “It is for the people of this country to decide who sits in parliament, not Harriet Harman.”
