The last time Kate, Princess of Wales and Prince William did a public engagement with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry was last September, in Windsor where they reunited to meet well-wishers following Queen Elizabeth II’s death. It has recently been revealed, that the walkabout was “the hardest thing Kate’s ever had to do”, according to a royal author. And body language expert Jesús Enrique Rosas has since reviewed the footage and images from that day, claiming to spot a moment when Harry moved his wife further away from his brother and sister-in-law.
In a recent Royal Rogue video on YouTube, Jesús said that “analysing the video was one of the most spectacular displays of body language that [he has] seen in a long time”.
Referring to a photograph of the four royals walking away from the car after arriving, the expert claimed: “It was obvious that despite how uncomfortable Catherine could be, she managed to slay”.
“She nailed the way one should behave when you find yourself in a situation in which you need to share the stage with others”, Jesús added.
“Meghan was nervous, looking in Catherine’s direction, and Meghan’s left hand – was at least, for a split second – covering her chest.

“Catherine was walking tall with her hands relaxed and her chin really up.”
Jesús commented further: “I have seen Catherine walking a thousand times and she usually doesn’t have her chin that high up – in some scenarios, it could be read as arrogance, but in this ca se, it was more like… she was showing who was in charge.
“Despite what was being requested of William and Catherine in this moment, they behaved in the most diplomatic and polite way, and that is the ability that some people have, that is part of emotional intelligence.”
The expert then moved on to images taken of the four royals just before they were about to leave.
“This is another picture truly representative of the power of presence,” Jesús claimed.
The royals were standing at the back of the car, in order from left to right it was William, Kate, Harry and Meghan.
Jesús noted: “You can see the tension in Meghan’s body with her arm contracted and if you have a keen eye, you can also see the tension in her neck.
“That is not to say that Catherine was not tense as well, but even in that tension, she knew that she had a role bigger than herself and her feelings.”

The video from this moment showed William addressing the wellwishers. He said: “Goodbye everyone, thank you so much”, and started waving to the crowds.
Kate joined her husband waving, followed by Harry before Meghan turned to see everyone else waving and made a small wave to the crowd on her left.
Harry, who had already stepped behind his wife by now and removed himself from the line of four, placed his hands on Meghan’s waist as if to encourage her to move.
Jesús watched the footage and looked at the images of this moment and claimed “Harry was pushing Meghan away from William and Catherine”.
Harry could’ve been simply guiding his wife toward the car as they were about to leave.
But the video showed them realising they were on the wrong side of the car for Meghan’s allocated seat – behind the passenger’s seat, which Kate occupied.
Harry then guided Meghan around to the left, before opening the door and waiting while she stepped inside.
He then walked back around the car to the right side and got in behind the driver’s seat, where William was sitting.
