Ben, 45, was forced to step-in as a link to one of the guests on Good Morning Britain was broken as the show continues to adhere to social distancing rules by speaking to interviewees via video call. The person in question was a hairdresser, who will be opening up their salon at 12am tomorrow morning to welcome back customers following the coronavirus crisis. Luckily, the bulk of their appearance on the ITV programme had been completed, but just as they were finishing up, the screen turned misty as the feed went blank. This led the host to address the technical blunder to viewers.
“We’ve just lost the link,” he commented, going on to speak with another guest who was lined up to speak with him and co-star, Charlotte Hawkins, 45.
By the end of the discussion, the hairdresser was brought back to join the panel, with Ben remarking they managed to “bring her back”.
