Astrologer shares 4 ‘unlucky’ Chinese zodiac signs for 2023-2024 – is yours on the list?

In Chinese astrology, The Year of the Rabbit is between January 22, 2023 and February 9, 2024.

According to an astrologer at China Highlights, the luckiest signs for The Year of the Rabbit are Ox, Tiger and Snake.

However, 2023 – 2024 cannot be lucky for everyone, with the astrologer predicting that Dog, Horse, Goat and Pig will be a little unlucky this year.

Now this does not mean misfortune and doom for those concerned – these signs might just find they do not stumble into incredible opportunities this year, but rather face some tricky obstacles to overcome.

Thankfully, 2023 – 2024 is a year of “hope”, promising good things for all, so even the unluckier signs will be okay throughout this 12-month period.

According to astrology, Horse (born in 2014, 2002, 1990, 1978, 1966, 1954 and 1942) is “animated, active and energetic”.

This sign “loves to be in a crowd”, thriving off human interaction, and they can usually be found centre stage at events such as gigs, theatre performances, sporting events and parties.

To minimise their chances of bad luck, Horse should “avoid” unlucky colours blue and white, unlucky numbers one, five and six, unlucky directions north and northwest, and unlucky months the fifth, seventh and 11th lunar months.

Goat (born in 1931, 1943, 1955, 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003 and 2015) is “gentle, mild-mannered, shy, stable, sympathetic, amicable”, and  “brimming with kindheartedness”.

While Goat is personable and loves to be in big groups, this Chinese zodiac sign is not one for making themselves the centre of attention.

To avoid bad luck, Goat should steer clear of unlucky colours blue and black, unlucky numbers four and nine, unlucky direction southwest and the third, sixth and tenth lunar months.

The astrologer warned: “Avoid these months if you have some important business to do or want to plan an event.”

According to Chinese astrology, Pig (born in 2031, 2019, 2007, 1995, 1983, 1971, 1959 and 1947) is “diligent, compassionate, and generous”.

This sign has great “concentration” and determination, both able to set themselves impressive goals and see them through.

To avoid poor fortune, Pig should stay away from unlucky colours red, blue and green, unlucky numbers one and seven, unlucky direction southwest and unlucky months the fourth, ninth and 12th lunar months.
