Alison Hammond has the 'best day of my life' with William and Kate

Alison Hammond had “the best day of my life” as she fooled around with the Prince of Wales during a fun game of darts.

The This Morning presenter jokingly heckled Prince William during their game at the 180 Club in Birmingham after convincing the Prince and Princess of Wales to take her on.

The royal couple visited Birmingham to celebrate its diverse culture by meeting future leaders in the arts and creative industries.

The Mirror reported that while playing darts with Alison, Prince William shook his shoulders loose and focused on the target as Alison said: “Are you going to relax your arm?”

When the Prince’s dart fell to the floor, cheeky Alison quipped: “This is the best day of my life.”

Later, a smiling Alison comically stretched her muscles as she prepared to beat the Prince’s score.

The Mirror reported that she said, “Just stretch it out”, as he laughed.

The Prince wore a button-up shirt and a simple suit while wife Kate wore a £229 burgundy midi dress from Karen Millen.

Alison took to Instagram to share a picture of the trio smiling for the camera.

She captioned the post: “These two are Everything!! @princeandprincessofwales. Thanks for popping by in birmingham. Next time dinner at my place.”

The royal couple had earlier been greeted by crowds during their first public appearance since it was revealed that Harry will be at Westminster Abbey to watch King Charles and Queen Camilla being crowned on May 6.

They also visited a family-run independent Indian restaurant in the city centre.

In one hilarious moment, William took a booking on the phone from an unsuspecting customer.

Alison recently announced that she will star in a Christmas pantomime later this year.

The 48-year-old took to her Instagram on Wednesday to announce that she will be performing alongside Matt Slack, Doreen Tipton and Andrew Ryan in the Birmingham Hippodrome production of Jack and the Beanstalk which will open on 16 December, reports OK!.
