A plane has crashed on a road after taking off in Essex. The light aircraft was taking off from Andrewsfield Aerodrome near Braintree earlier today when it crashed and landed across a road in nearby Great Sailing. BBC Essex reports that the only person on board the aircraft is “unhurt” and work is being carried out to remove the plane from the scene.
